Keep your pets away from it. Have been told it can kill them.

I know, when it gets cold out. They mix calcium chloride with the cement when they pour it, so the cement won't freeze, plus it cuts down on curing time.
I would say, hose it off, forget about it.

Its commonly applied to concrete roads and streets for ice control. Just wash it away with water.

If its not absorbed into the concrete yet (sure its either soaked in or run off) by now, put some on your leather goods. Will shine them right up. True story when i was much yo0unger told the girlfirend to put some on her boots to shine htem up. Shined htem up real nice until the boots got almost like a hard plastic and cracked. I never expected her to acutally do it.

I have heard horror stories of what Calcium Chloride will do to concrete and try hard to wash it down whenever I have a spill. But the truth is even when I haven't been able to clean it up I have yet to see it cause damage. So I wouldn't sweat it. Just clean it up as you would a water spill, wash it down or put floor dry on it.

Be sure you don't let any of it get around your trees or any plants as like regular salt it can kill them.just be careful.

PLENTY of water and watch out for any spray or splash onto metal. Salt is a pain no matter what. Jeffcat
