The History channel had a great one on last night."Harvesters 2".
They explained harvesting different crops like dates, cranberries, tangerines, and of course, corn.
I hope it makes people think about what we have to go through to keep the world fed.
They gave domos on corn-binding and ear-picking both by hand and w/JD mounted picker.
I didn't know that Wisconsin is the country leader for production of cranberries! The growers they had on were from Tomah.
A definite must see!

Yup watched it with the boys, then they ransacked the picture box and found some of their great grandad doing the same type of harvest for corn as they shown, except the equip was IH of course. Being 6 and 10 they woke up this am for school with alternative plans for my venture in to crops next spring_"Lets do it like they showed last night , dad" Hmmm how long you think that enthusiasm would last in the fall. I loved the thought though, have to say.
