Oh yeah we got the real deal here in Lynden this morning. 10 degrees with NE wind at 30 mph blowing snow so wind chill at -20 or more. Crews are trying to get the tractors started to get back to pushing snow drifts. One must not feel like working and they just informed me that when they shut down last evening the glass in the main cab door shattered. This was on a tractor I rented so guess there goes any profit from yesterday. Why do I do this again? The boys in Canada didn't just leave the door open, they must have pulled back the curtain on the whole border! Migraine

You fellas are real lucky down there in nebraska and such,,,we are getting slam dunked north of y"all in saskatchewan.
About 4 inches of snow with the wind,,,lots of drifting,,,wind chill is kinda rude too.
Unfortunatly we arent done yet with this storm.

Must be coming from Alaska. -40 with the wind chill this morning. CCCCold! Tires on a vehicle feel like they're almost solid. Lots of ice on the roads too. Dave

Once a summer I tell the Mrs. "That pair of pants makes part of you look big." I get the same -10 effect with damaging any equipment.

It looks like all heck will break out tomorrow here. I am sticking things away like a huge chipmunk. I am just not ready for the nasty stuff yet. Got the diesel plow plugged in.

In short the answere is no. I went from getting the flu three weeks ago to blowing my back about 2 weeks ago. I am just weening myself off of the medication and starting to talk with out a slurr. All heavy lifting and any activity requiring any sort of cognative skills has been put on hold (no aviating). I sure hope next year I am writing enough black to hire some help. Usually it isn't a problem but my boss is a jerk and won't give me sick days to recoup. Ever work for one of them?
