I attended a sale yesterday and there were three high crop 730 JDs fresh off of the boat from Argentina. These tractors had new Firestone 15-5-38 45 degree tires on them. Is it possible that these tires are still being made other countries? If they are is there some way to get them in the States? I would be interested in a dozen of them.

Believe it or not but if you know the right person to talk to you can get almost any tire made that you want, but you will pay the price also. I know a guy that owns almost all the old tire molds for the old cars and he makes tires for most of the older car. So say you have 1935 chev and you want a tire just like what it had on it when new you call this guy and he will ship you the tires. Now if he does tractor tires I don't know. I do know years ago I wanted a pair of tires for a hay rake I had and he siad what size and I gave him the size and with in 3 days he told me how much they would cost. The size was 4.00X38 or some thing like that and they would have cost $400 plus each, I didn't buy them becuase the rake wasn't worth half what one tire would cost.

I've seen them. Go talk to your local farm tire dealer, or go to millertire.com

Old is right, if you want to buy 400 tires they will put your name on the side wall.(at least car tires)
