Winter Safety Tip

For those of you who leave your tractors outside in the weather, always remember to locate them SO YOU CAN BACK THEM UP. It's not uncommon to have the tires freeze to the ground in a muddy yard and if you start out in a forward gear with the wheels locked to the ground, the tractor can flip over with serious consequences to the operator. If you back up, this cannot happen. So back up first to make sure that your drive wheels are free.
Be safe out there!

Got me there! I would have never thought of that occuring, but I am 100% certain my tractor could go over backwards. I usually start out at low RPM and then once I am moving give it a little fuel. Anyway that is a piece of good advice.

Woo-hoo! Good advice! Bet some new tractor owners hadn't thought of that! It would tend to ruin yer day, wouldn't it?
