One of the boys loaded up the JD7600 on the truck yesterday to take it over to the other farm. Got over there and found the door missing. Found remains back along the road(didn't hit anyone). Seems the door opened and since the hinges are attached directly to the glass, it just kept on goin'. The gas ram is still missing in action. Next time we'll back the tractor on.

I'd send the pieces to Allen in NE. He's an expert on doors now but I'm betting you'd have to paint it your self because there's no green or yellow paint in his shop.

Have a great day guys!

Mine was 3 weeks ago. After 14 hour day, I was cleaning out the manure from the barn. Got off the tractor to close the gate when I saw big blue rolling down the slope. Yeppers, didn't get the parking brake on enough. Big blue rolled into a guide cable for a electric pole and bent the exhaust pipe and put one heck of a bent in the canopy. At least no one got hurt.

Yesterday I was going down a fairly narrow paved road in my '03 f-250 crew cab and met a truck just like mine and our mirrors hit. His was torn off in a million pieces and mine just had a chip of plastic and folded back. It was really no one's fault as narrow as the road was, but really startled me.

Hey Burnie you think maybe truck hit a bump in the road to cause the door to unlatch.

Don't really know Rich. The road's not particularlly rough but the suspension is pretty hard on the truck. We've never had trouble with the door(until now!). Just one of those things, I guess.
