3 point hitch

Just bought a "Worksaver" 3 point hitch for my 656 Farmall. I,ve operated lots of tractors before, but never one with 3-point. It seems fairly straightforward, except for one question. When using a rear blade(angled), will I be placing any undue stress(sideways) on the hitch linkage? I don't plan on using anything wider than the tractor itself. Thanks.

You need something to keep the blade from moving too much when you're backing up; stabilizers, block or chains. This is double-true when you angle the blade!

It shouldn't. Thats what it's made for. You could put stabilizers on it though. Dave

I have a saginaw 3 pt on my Super M and have a 7 ft blade that I abuse the heck out of and no problem to the 3pt at all tho the blade has suffered a bit. even with an 7ft snowblower no probs. But I researched the 3 pts before I bought one and it may not apply to the worksaver 3pt.
