I had a fellow call a few minutes ago wanting to sell a 9N. Hasn't run in a year and ahalf. Converted over to a 12 volt system and he lost the key. How do I hot wire it some I can hear it run. Is $1500 a bad price, said it was in good shape, good tires , no oil leaks , but needs paint and has no rust.

You can try to jump across the terminals on the ignition switch. Make sure it is in neutral, in case someone messed with the safety interlock with the pushbutton starter.

To hot wire, go behind key switch and tie the two wires together. In other words, by-pass the switch.
If it is a nice straight, good running 9N with good rubber, it is worth $1500. Just make sure the hydraulics work well....
