Yep Boys,

What ya do is just keep haulin' the ol' misfits back to the shop fer repairs. Never seem to wear 'em out. :>)

Do hope I get it all winterized before the hottest part of summer sets in. :>)

On the old C Gleaner to engage the thresher we just stuck our hand out the rubber boot on the side of the cab and pushed the lever. Simple, but so am I and it worked.

What about getting a cable controled valve so you can mount the valve outside of the cab with just a lever inside? That's the way most loader valves are setup on cab tractors anymore. Going that route would probably cost $500 but in the tight quarters your dealing with it might be the best way to go.

Allen, Why can't you get a Cross or some other valve plumbed in there with just the lift cylinders one-way and the others two-way? It would probably be like you F-11. Come to think of it, most valves bodies have a float position on them for the lift which would act like a single action valve?? Maybe? Just thinking. I do enjoy your posts

The more I see you fiddlin with those ol' farmhands, the more they grow on me. Hey, if you do end up needing more speed to the lift cylinders so you dont have to run the engine so fast, you can combine pump flows from both your pumps if you want to. Its a common practice and easy to do.

Let us know how the plumbing job turns out, ok?

ALLAN may i quiz you on the hyd.
NOW that i SEE good ole red there.
AND i can get a small veiw of where your valves are.
Is it that your need one more valve for your operation.
IF so have you got room to T your pressure line to all valves by use short hose's or piping----on the in ports?
Just trying to trouble shoot this with you.
I think we can do the same on the returns?

Here's a couple of pictures of the single acting rotary valve that I have to give up. The little handle is just a "slow" bleed-off of the lift cylinders (to let it down slow).

There is one hose in, one out, and a hose for each function.

The only place I can see to mount anything is right above the ashtray.

My F-11 loader is built the same way, only it uses all double acting cylinders so the need for 3 levers connected by close nipples. One hose in tho, one out to dump and one pressure regulator for the whole shootin' match.

Well AH let mee see.
Better let me go out here and kick this ole 706 around a little and maybe he'll kick back with some sence.
I am thinking that there is a 2 spool valve that we can mount on a small plate out side the cab.
Then we can run the control rods through a small hole in the side of cab spot weld a small braket to that strut above the ash tray to put the levers on?
NOW? i'am THINKING??? if we need a regulator i have for some reason got it in my mind that on a super m that had the auxiliary control valve they had a small in line regulator infront of the valve?
I'am going out here and kick ole red around for awhile THANKS NO tools
