A friend of ours put together in around 1990 a 5.7 GM diesel in an A and ran that for a while. he next put a diesel pump on a B and made that work -- he sold that into Texas.

Saw a G with a GM 5.7 diesel in it several years back in Gas Engine Magazine. Still have it somewhere at the farm...

Would like to hear more about your john deere. Never saw one with a v8 .Is this a joke or is it real.

Saw this one in Portland,In. in 1997. If I remember right, that was a V-8 Dodge diesel.

Looks like an Olds 5.7 valve cover to me.Didn't know dodge had a V8 diesel.But I could be wrong,right cj?
