Whew!

Hardest part is over; draggin' that little fella home against a 40 knot head wind. 6 1/2 hours round trip, but at least it is here now.

Anybody got 'bout 4 dozen 3/8" bolts lying about? :>)

Allan;

You can get your bolts at a hardware store or a C-IH dealer. Oh,you probaly knew that. Now I would have just put a comfort cover on the tractor.

Stay warm and dry and dont forget your flu shot.

Steve,

I stopped at the IH dealer on my way to pick up this cab and was gonna order one if I decided to leave the cab set where it was.

They told me that the Weather Brakes can still be ordered from CaseIH to the tune of $325. But, I only gave $100 for the factory cab and it looks as though it will work just fine.

Hmm. I have the exact cab sitting here from my 544D. It just did not look right on there. I dont have the hornet apartment on top like yours, but it has the heater in the inside. What are they off off originally. I was told they were common on the 06 series. So now that every one knows what it looks like , any one want the one I have . Central MN.

That's gonna be a fun install...
Do my eyes deceive me or did the lid come off that A/C unit?

Maybe if it doesn't fit the Hydro you can rig it up for the H!

Yep,

The lid flew open on the cooler, bent and the darned cab kept trying to "fly" on me. Chained it with two log chains and put on four nylon straps after stopping four times. Dang thing thought it was a bird 'er somethin'. :>)

Come to find out, the cab came off of an outfit just like what I'm trying to put it on. Has a special door that "folds" around the loaders strut to allow ya to go in thru the left door.

Some days ya just get lucky. :>)

I can't believe how lucky you got on the door. I could never get that lucky.

Jer,

That is the coolest darned door. Has a horizontal hinge under the glass.

When the door opens and the bottom of it hits that strut, the lower portion of the door just folds back towards the inside and out of the way.

Pretty slick.

I reckin that is the differance between IH steel and John Deere steel. They must just be built a little lighter. :>)hehe (sorry, could not resist that one)
