If you had a choice of paints would you use Urethane enamel, or Acrylic enamel? What is the difference between the two. Thanks, Stan

I would use the urethane if not much of a price premium. The urethane if clear coated will cross link and need no mechanical grip if clear is applied
with in specified time. If clear coating arcylic enamel it will need to be scuffed for the mechanical grip. Single stage urethane can be sanded and buffed to look much like the lacquer of olden days. This is the way I undersand it anyway.

You need to identify your requirements of the paint before anyone can tell you which is best. Polyurethane...acrylic urethane...(both use catylist)...acrylic enamel..(catylized or not)..regular synthetic (alkyd) enamel (some use a catylist) These are best to worst as far as quality, appearance and durability in my opinion. They aren't ALL for EVERYTHING though. See first sentence.
