Ignition, charging, starting, and power distribution systems are quite simple. However, most folks are never exposed to the workings of them and become frustrated when confronted with these type problems.
A large number of post on this forum involve electrical problems, often the same problems over and over.
I noticed a coupled of EEs and other trained contributors on this forum.
Does it make sense to add an entry to the sidebar on this page which describes these different systems, complete with drawings, to which those with these problems could be refered?

Possibly one could start it and others could critique it resulting in a real good finished product.

Should be most worthwhile, but when I see a post asking "the same old question" and then just scroll down 4 or 5 topics to where that same exact query was perfectly addressed by some one who had gone to the trouble of answering this for the third time in four days, I begin to doubt.
Maybe I got up on the wrong side a the bed this mornin.

i'm thinking if is heading for electrical problems guys might find what they are looking easier without looking through 4 or 5 days posting about everything from soap to nuts . then same thing won't come up so often .
