Started off cool and cooler but we had a good time. 6 pickers and one picker-sheller in the field. Yeah, we saved a load so we can shell at our Show in June. Heres a link to my Yahoo Album

Just started picking today, been running the combine until now because the corn is so dry this year. Won't pick my usual 3000 bu with it this dry. Does that Case & wagon work out in 175bu corn? My NI picker does, but the 200bu wagons don't last long & have to stop & unload.... One man job.

Looks like a lot of fun. The little guy in pic #5 looks like someone just refused him a ride on the tractor. Probably a good idea using that equipment though. Thanks for sharing and God Bless. Bob Da. (La)

THAT brings back memories. Dad had a MM two row pull-behind, powered by our IH Super W6. My job was to get the corn out of that wretched gravity wagon and into the elevator to the top of the wire crib. Durn stuff was forever jamming in the door and I had to beat it free.

Always colder'n a well-digger's butt too.
