I have a 4440 John Deere that I would like to put a chrome exaust pipe on it and a chrome breather pipe as well. I have been looking around to find some pretty expensive pipes. Do any of you know where to buy these pipes cheap? And right what size diameter is the exaust and breather? Thanks so much

A cheap chrome pipe looks like a cheap chrome pipe.

Everyone posted ahead of time is very correct, cheap chrome rusts, blues etc in the long run not worth it.

Thomure in East Prairie Missouri can fix you up with chrome or stainless with correct flange ready to fit. They make them for most all of the aftermarket vendors around but cheap chrome? Buy some of that China junk and get what you pay for if you want cheap. The cheap ones turn blue faster.

Most of the chrome comes from China these days, most of it isn't real good either. The EPA has pretty much shut down most of the chroming operations in America. I looked into putting in a plating shop in the early 90s but just the permits and engineering studies were too cost prohibitive. I was already making custom stainless exhaust components, so I stuck to that. But none are cheap.
I bought a few of the stainless stacks off ebay so I could look them over. Wasn't impressed, at least I use NEW stainless, and my pieces are ALL stainless.

Thomure Mfg. Co. 800-527-9954 I've had them make exhaust adapters and pipes for trucks and tractors in the past and I consider them the best.
