I planted 25lbs. of kenebeck seed taters this spring . I just dug them this morning. ended up with about 100lbs. even with all the rain we had this spring and summer!

I haven't dug all mine yet, but I think the yield will be poor. We got some kind of fungus this summer which killed potatoes and tomatoe vines. Leaves turned all black. I think I will grow them somewhere else next year.

did it look like a frosted flake after it dried upsome? If so it was late blight. BURN all the refuse , vines, etc and get rid of the tubers...send them to the landfill, or they will help reinfect next years crop.

Seeing as you had it this year, it has a good chance of coming back, keep plants sprayed with a chlorothalinil fungicide weekly next year and you shouldnt have a problem, be aware that certain Late Blight strain will also attack tomato.

Doesn't sound like a good potato year there. I planted about 5# an got almost 100. Red pontiacs I believe.
