Was out early cutting first cutting in October. Old brome grass fields that wait until fall until I get there, easy to dry and put up and with all the rain we are getting the second cut basal leaves are coming up nice. This hay pretty much stays in the same shape after about July 1 so no hurry, anybody else cut this stuff. Oh, and I get these fields for free, no doubt I make more money on this stuff than my expensive alfalfa and trefoil I plant. Also, unlike Allen's pictures of rusty farm equipment I pretty mine up a bit with models.
