Lots of hay baled here last week. No frost to speak of yet. When I was a kid, we saw many a frost in August..most times about 10th-15th Sep.

We are getting ready for
third cutting.
Our fields are mixed grass
and alfalfa.
We have had good rain compared to last
year.
We are located in Hampshire Illinois
(northern Illinois)2nd cut was 65 per acre,
Should be good yield for 3rd

Ya, know what ya mean Sam. Where are you in Mo. I'm down here just southeast of Springfield and we baled some grass about a week ago. Did pretty good considering we're 9 inches under for rain. Harley

I'm located in central MO. I got a place in Gerald 30 acres and Linn 125 acres. We are about the same with the rain down about 9 inches. I was starting to worry about the amount of hay I would have for feed this winter. Now I wondering if we are going to have one at all.

Have a grat day
