73' F-250 again

you guys where right about the gas in the block, it was the fuel pump.. we checked the rings too though, and still had 125 PSI.. brand new that motor is only suposed to have 130.. and darn near 300,000 miles on it with no rebuild! talk about a good motor! but thanks again for the help! I am also posting some pictures, just for the heck of it.. thanks again! Tim shultz

Glad you are back on the road again. I kind of suspected it was the fuel pump. Oh by the way do you carry a rake to fill in the ditch you made? I just love mowing where someone left deep ruts in a field, and the grass coveres them up, makes for a real butt buster. Then if it is your field you can do what ever you want. Stan

That diluted oil with all the gas probably lapped in the rings again. Should have a very clean engine inside. Watch the oil level a little closer for awhile. Could cause something else to happen. Who knows.

Those infantile (early) failure of parts can happen with any new part! Hope it was guaranteed.

don't need no chevy, lol.. becouse it's rare to get this truck stuck.. and when it does get stuck, I yank it out with the case.. later, Tim Shultz
