Now I gotta get it home. Turns out it's a 1962 204. Looks mighty fine for the price I'm paying for it (FREE!). The old feller told me it was "As is. As shown. Down the road, you're on your own!"
Note the very rare "Rear Mallard" option.

Best tractor I've got cost that much and came with a similar comment, except they also very grateful... Made that one look like a peach. Never entertained ideas of beauty or restoration and have used and enjoyed it greatly. Think it makes it more fun to have everyone shake their head and smile and that thing just keeps right on working and running. Have worked it pretty regularly for about four years now and have about three hundred dollars in it.

Looks good to me, can't beat the price. It looks better than the one someone gave me a few years ago. Mine is a 203. Have fun. Stan

I paid $250 for one that was WAY worse than that.

...do you really want to take that old rusty, duck scat covered tractor home and make your wife sick? And where will the duck sit? You need to let me take it off your hands and maybe, just maybe, the wife will let you 'look' at another cleaner, shiny tractor!

Is that one of those "rear mount mower ducks" I hear so much about?

Congratulations--I guess. But these things can fool you. I've seen guys drain the old gas, clean the carb, etc. and they'll leap to life. On the other hand----if it don't work out, you and your wife can have barbeque duck some evening.

That's what the duck is there for: to remind me.
