Seems like in all the forums theres a lot fewer people post thing then in the last couple years. Is it just me or have you other guys seem this also. What is it that with the way gas/diesel prices have been and the shows going on now that theres just as many people posting??

Old,
I have also noticed the declining trend in new posts. I have Case, John Deere and Ford tractors
and look at these forums almost daily. The questions and responses are intertaining and of great value to me as I have learned so much.

Well maybe with things like they are now, people may not be buying as much old iron as before..buy a 500 dollar tractor across country and takes 1000 to 1500 to go get it...Maybe people had to let their internet service go to pay for FUEL... gosh who knows ...have nice day MAY GOD BLESS THE USA

Maybe people are wising up to just how stewpid most of the questions (and answers)are on this site. The stewpidity displayed here is rivaled only by that on thedieselstop.com

I can also spell stewpid, as stoopid, given the illiteracy that shows up on this board, I am surprised that anyone noticed.

I've been posting for just over a year now and I think Tractor Talk has slowed down a bit, but some of the other forums are definely slow. Today's Tractors has been very slow these past few months; only one or two new posts per day. Don't know why.

It may be that everyone is heeding the much given advise to look in the archives and buy your own manual and no longer need this forum

You are logged onto the time-waster of choice of a number of people. Perhaps at this time of year they just don't have the time to spend on it because there are a whole lot of more interesting things to do before days get short and there is nothing else but hockey to get them through the evenings.

Hey, this forum provides pretty good company, the odd truly useful or interesting idea, and it sure beats sitting in a pub.

The hobby has been slowing down the last couple of years, ever since the price of gas skyrocketed, there has been less attendence to the shows and pulls. Although, this site doesn't cost a thing, but maybe people are staying away because if they read the forums, they'd want to get active in the hobby again and right now they are out of money so they choose to stay away?. Yes, I noticed the responses are way down on the average post. It'll pick back up, problably as soon as the economy stabilizes, possibly by next summer if gas prices continue to go down.

With gas prices dropping as fast as they are everybody is probably out driving to shows and doing what they normally do instead of sitting here complaining about everything.
