I was wondering what if any difference there is between b100 and soybean oil? I see soy oil is selling on chicago board for 25.12--is that per hundred wt. or hundred gal? I see guys talking about b20, is that the most popular blend?
Thanks in advance.

Soybean oil contains glycirin(?) . Biodiesel has been processed to remove the glycirin which is about twenty percent of the oil. I can't answer your CBT question.

I'm no expert, but I am interested and have been reading up on biodiesel on the internet:

try>Link

One>Link issue, I think, with using soy to make biodiesel - it has a higer propensity to oxidize compared to other oils so storage time may be more limited.
