For utility tractors? Can't seem to get any response on the Massey board or even a wisecrack on Tales.

Les, I haven't checked the Tailer forum in a couple of days, but here are the production tracors for MF in 1963 per Neufeld's book, A Global Corporation. Don't know for certain which were utility (other than the 35, 50, 65) but you can sort through this.

Model Production in North America 35 12,526 50 2,892 65 9,630 90 4,452 97(bought from suppliers) 1,756 202 1,271 203 370 204 614 205 230 356 481 302 95 304 66 Total Production 34,383

Have fun with this. Tim

Someone mentioned the MF 97 but it was sure not a small utility tractor but a larger wheatland type standard tread tractor. 93-101 HP. It was made by MM but with MF sheet metal 1963-65. Same as MM G705 diesel and there was also a 97 LPG and MM G705 LPG model. I'm looking in Farm Tractors 1950-1975 and some models other mentioned showed to be only made till 1962 ?? They show a MF 25 diesel came out in 63, 20-25 HP. Looks like in 65 they came out with 100 series, 135, 165, 150, 175, 180, & 1100.

I'm not an authority, but believe the one's listed below were ag models. The industrial series were similar, but lower to the ground, heavier wide front axles, rear exhaust, etc. The model numbers for those I'm familiar with are the aforementioned 202 and also a 203, 204, 205. I think all were available in gas or diesel. The gas engine was the continental z134, think there were a variety of diesels used, mostly (if not all) perkins. Think some were 3 and some were 4 cylinder diesels. The different model #s reflect different combos of engine and clutches/transmissions, notably some came with an instant reverse shuttle clutch. I have a gas 202 with dual-clutch, model 200 front loader, and factory 3pt/pto. Many came with a backhoe instead of the 3pt/pto. I really like mine, built like a brick, um, house, parts mostly available, the loader's strong.

They were Massey Ferguson at that time and according to the research site over on the left they were making MF35,50,65,90 series, & 97 although I don't know if the 90 and 97 were "utility" tractors. By the time 1965 rolled around they put a "1" in front of those numbers and did some restyling.
