Hi David,
I also enjoy your photo's. This is an 80% off topic question but you may know the answer if you have small kids or grandkids.

In the Bob the Builder kids show, what the heck is Muck? Does such a vehicle exist in Britian/Europe?

Thanks,
Bill

I have 2 and 4/9 grandsons.

".....Scoop, Muck and Dizzy, and Rolly too..."

They watch those "Bob" tapes a couple of times each weekend. Good stuff.

However---anybody ever wonder about the realtionship between Bob and Wendy????

Re: OT for David in Wales - answer - MUCK in reply to Bill from MA, 09-06-2006 17:46:26
Bore da;
Question raised a smile here. Hav'nt got grandkids yet, sounds like a great show - better than most of the junk thats shown here ! LoL
MUCK is an agricultural word - means the brown smelly stuff farmers have when they keep animals
(we also call granular fertilizer which comes in plastic sacks Bag Muck).
MUCK to townies is wet soil, ie if it was on your shoes they would be mucky.
MUCK to construction men is the wet surplus soil on building sites so dozers & trucks would be shifting muck- hence MUCK-TRUCK.
Cheers David

My daughters (who also like machinery) inform me that "Muck" is a dump truck. Apparently with a scoop - could be self loading dump truck?
Cheers,
R

GREAT question! And tractor-related!

My son is a B t B fan, and through HOURS of watching the videos, I have often wondered the same thing.

My favorite machine on the show is "LOFTY", the crane with an "inferiority complex"!
