Been there, done that on a Taurus.

Fortunately I was able to aquire the alldata process notes.

Definately a two day affair.

And the pictures of the car with the entire dash out with wires unpluged everywhere was a site to behold.

Got it back together without extra parts. And everything operational.

Whew!

Not a bad job you will need to remove the heater box from under the dash, its not hard to git out. 4 or 5 thru bolts that go thru the fire wall.

Perry,

There're not fun to say the least. 'Bout a 5 hour job if it has air like yours.

Grease the heck out of those new core nipples and the inside of the heater hoses before you put the hoses back on. Very easy to ruin a new core by breaking the solder joints.

Look on the bright side; at least you're not working on a Ford Taurus. :>)

Sounds like you did a Taurus core before Allan.10 hours right?
I think it's more fun getti'n poked in the eye with a sharp stick. Most of those Fords around here have been crushed. ~brad
