I am restoring a 1959 ford select-o-speed .this is the 10 speed.I am replacing the water pump,but cannot figure out how to get the fan housing off of the pump.Can anyone help me.This is my first project.thank you.

Are you trying to rebuild your pump or are you going to replace the whole pump with a new one???

The fan is held onto the pully by bolts.
The pully should come with a new pump (or at least it did when I bought mine) but is held on by a C retainer.
