Dont know how many of you get to spend time with 3 year olds. Wife and I get our Grandson every Friday. A few weeks ago while in Wally World developing some digital pictures I found a video named Old McDonals Farm. $5.00. Kid cant get enough of it. He has a JD loader tractor (electric) that he runs all over, moves sand and wood with it. Now he wants a plow and harrow. Just sharing my future memories. Have a good day. Bob

Yep, kids are great. I have one boy 5 years old now. Yesterday while we were driving into town to get a pizza my son saw 2 cop cars at a gas station and he says. "look daddy, police cars" I said yeah, next he says...."are they in there shooting bad guys" Funny. My boy starts kindergarten next Monday.

My wife babysit's the 1 and 3 year old grandsons about 3 days a week, so I get to see them bunches. Recently I pulled out of storage the pedal tractor our son had when he was 3, cleaned it up and added a home-made 3 point hoist. Can't get the grandson off of it now.....

Enjoy him while you can. We had out grandson every wednesday for the last five years. When we started watching him he couldn't walk, talk, and all the other things he does now. He started first grade yesterday and won't be here on wednesdays. It is hard to take, but we will have his sister for two more years.

My boys have one of those electric 4 wheelers. I have a small hitch with 2 small wheels on it. You know those 9 inch ones from tsc. They pull that trailer around for hours. They say thier mowing with a big rotary mower. only if it really did work. By the way if you have one thats made before 93 check for a recall. These have bad wiring and burst in to flames. Just the other night had a house fire in the neigboring town due to one of these. They said they weren't even charging it.

Original batteries were never a problem I took'em out and installed a marine or car battery and they could ride for weeks before i had to recharge'em. Daughter had a Barbie jeep that had a million miles on it, I gave it to a friend and their kid put a nutter million on it. I think I had to put a couple switches in it under the gas pedal and that’s all. When I gave it away it needed a nutter battery so my bud got the bright idea to put hiz boat trolling motor battery in the rear and not in the passengers floor board were I had it. Sounded good to me, well we wired it to fit in the rear. Hiz daughter got in it and hit the go petal and it stood straight up, bad idea. We then took off the hood and cut out a space big enough to fit a small automotive battery.

Hi Guys; We got this one a year ago for his 2nd birthday so it should be ok but I will check the battery number and check the internet for problems. He has more fun with it. This year he got a remote controlled Hummer, he runs it while on the tractor and races them around. I turned down a $300. job for today just to stay home with him. Yeah, I hate to see school start because he goes to day-care pre-school every day then. We still get him some evenings and weekend days. Had him for sleep overs a couple times. Kids live 18 miles away, sure wish it was next door.

I've got no less than 8 of those battery powered ride ons in my garage right now. My wife buys and sells that kind of stuff (more buying than selling). My boys, 4 and almost 2, really enjoy them. Just had 2 of them fitted with the new wiring harnesses (recall). They were early 90s models. You may have to drive a bit to find a place authorized to do the recall work if necessary. jim
