I Just purchased an old CO-OP (Duplex) tractor that has an add on LPG system...(Not same as original Equipment) ...The brand on the Vaporizer reads "CYCLONE"... Has anyone ever heard of that brand and would someone know where to get parts for the vaporizer??? The tractor runs good but when you first turn on the propane tank you have to bang the vaporizor a couple of times or it will just hiss and vent out propane...as soon as the hiss stops it will sart and run fine...Any Help is appreciated...Thanks!

I remember seeing Cyclone on some but not who makes it? As said below you can probably get a new IMPCO the right size and be done with it. http://www.impco.ws/
R&W is our supplier here and they may know what a Cyclone is?

Do a search for the brand name on the internet and see if anything comes up for it. If not you may find the equivalent Impco vaporizor for the application. I just re-built mine, and do check parts prices, I got hosed by a local supplier for a re-build kit, live and learn, but was a simple item to re-build, the diaphragms can eventually leak and cause problems, what you describe sounds like a faulty safety valve. Make sure your electric connections are solid on that safety valve, and that your coolant lines running through the unit are tight and coolant is up to level in the radiator, especially if in a cold winter area. You can probably buy the complete unit for less than $150.00 I would think, as opposed to the $160 it cost me for a new safety valve, tank hose, and re-built kit for my Impco vaporizor. If you rebuild it, make sure you are very careful with the mating surfaces and make sure to clean them without gouging or scratching, soft metal, a gouge can cause a diaphragm leak. About all I know from the one I re-built, first one I've ever done, runs nice and I eliminated a leak that was increasing fuel consumption, starts up every time no problem now.
