I changed a 720D to electric start and now I am trying to match bigger battery box to the correct float ride and seat frame. Haven't received the battery box I ordered yet. Will the seat frame off the pony box work on the big box without the float ride? The stated measurements of the big box and those of the pony frame seems close. Where can I find the correct float ride for this big box? One guy thought he had what I needed and it was what I already have. HELP!!!

I have an original 720 D electric start model. If I was to convert one over I would not use the electric start battery box as it is in the way on the platform and makes the brake pedals hard to get to. Two good 12V batteries seem to work fine and have too much room in my box. I'd maybe try a box for a 720 gas tractor.

Thanks Mike. My problem is that two 1000 CCA batteries will not fit in the pony battery box. Do you have the float ride or are you using a seat frame without the float and what size is the frame if using solo..thanks, David

That's why I wondered if maybe one from a gas tractor would fit and work better. Your seat frame may fit it. I have a float ride seat and the frame is wider as the seat cushion is wider I have to watch when I order new ones that they are for electric start models. I don't know an exact measurement.
