My self I use one of 2 things and so has worked all but one time out of 10 engines. I fill with tranny fluid and if that alone doesn't work I then top that off with turpentine. But as Cowman says you better have a good bit of $$ laying around because that is one high $$ engine to work on.

Bill, I use a "Witches Brew" aka Snake Oil consisting of Diesel Fuel, Auto Tranny Fluid and Brake Fluid. Keep the cylinders filled as much as possible for at least a few days. If shes stuck badly, however, even if she frees up there may be cylinder scoring or pitting and/or stuck rings that will no longer expand n contract plus sticking valves and pitted valves or seats that will never seal correct grrrrr rrrrr r In the event she does free up and the valves are free and she ever starts, Id use low weight high detergent oil plus Rislone plus auto tranny fluid for a while in hopes to free any sticking rings or sticky valves and maybe desludge and decarbonize her.

Best wishes n God Bless, let us know what happens.

A stuck MD? You better have deep pockets. I'd suggest a gasser for a first project.

There are many, many recipes. I like autotransmission fluid and diesel. Only good way is to tear down and do total rebuild. HTH God Bless. Bob Da. (La)
