I'm thinking about heading south for a week or so. I live in Northern Illinois and want to go to Tennessee, and possibly Mississippi. I love to bass fish, and I know TN is big for that. Does anyone have any ideas for places to see or good fishing spots? I'm open to anything as I really need to get out and think about some things. If anyone has some work they need done, and has a spair bedroom or an air mattress I'd love to talk. Thanks.

I do not live too far from Ky and Barkly lakes. There is good fishing all the time around them. I went to Murray State up the road from there. Lots of good cheap places to stay.

Best of Luck!

Dave

We was down that way last summer. If you can get over to Shiloh national park. Just next to it on the tenn river is a ll you can eat catfish place. Believe me its good. I am almost tempted to drive back down just for it. My truck puked on the way back up in Vandiallia IL last year. It was a fun trip. LOL

Land between the lakes at Camden & New Johnsonville, West Tenn. Half-hour from here to the Tenn. river (Ken. lake) & worlds best croppie fishing. Got an ancient log cabin you can rough it in.

If you don't mind ruffing it a little I have a 5th wheel trailor you could stay in for a few days. I'm in Missouri close to the lake of the ozraks which is known for bass. Shoot you can even fish in my creek and get a few good ones
