I am in need of a 38 inch tire for my Case 401.Do any of you all know where I may find a used one cheap around Northwest Ar.??? I am looking for a 13 or 14 inch wide and it doesn't have to have a lot of tread.I use the Case for brush hogging.I need a good tire but not one weathered, have that on now and it is comming apart.I might use a 15 inch if I can't find the others.

I just got a good deal on 13.6x38 NEW radials from a tire installer for farm machinery. He called them buy-backs as someone bought a new sprayer and didn't want the 38 inch tires on it. Basically I got the tires for only one-third of their new price! So you may want to check out a variety of sources, even new machinery dealers.
Good luck

You can safely go one inch wider or narrower than the width of the rim, without looking funny or getting poor performance. Compensate for new size markings found on tires over the last few decades. Sources? Tractor dealers and tire dealers like Goodyear, etc. that sell farm tractor tires usually have a selection of used ones. Many farmers puncture a half-worn tire and replace the pair.

Will a 12.4x38 do? I have a 6ply 90% tread small spot of minor weather checking where tire sat on ground. Located in north central Texas

To bad you aren't closer to Richland Missouri. I know a place there that has a good number of 15.9X38 tires and they can be had for around $125-150 or so each and they have probably 15 plus of them and maybe a few 14.9 to boot

I am looking for 13.6 x 38 rear tractor tires.
I might be able to use the tires you mentioned
at Richland, Mo.

Do you have a phone No# or E-mail address of the
person who has the tires?

My phone No# is 417-678-1525
