I'm not familair with your model.. however.. if this were a ford.. I'd have 2 thoughts. 1, depending ont he ps setup.. it is either full ps.. or assist. the assist models have the little cyl alongside the tractor.. and there are not too strong.. even when new.. but they sure beat 'armstrong' steering. the full ps setups vcan get weak pumps, and then they exhibit what you say.. that is.. they only have enough power to steer while moving... Usually this can be 'tested' by revving the engine up and trying to steer. For instance.. rev engine to pto speed and see if it all of a sudden steers fine while setting still. if so.. you were having a volume/pressure issue, and need to look a tthe pump.. especially the filter if it has not been changed in a while... on a ford.. te canister coms off to get at the filter.. not suire baout your beast.. also.. some fluid may be ejected fromt he cap if the filter is plugged.. again.. this is what I observe on fords.. And early fergy and MF used strikingly similar setups.. etc. good luck, and post back. Soundguy
