It's been hot and dry lately. Seems like it hasn't rained (except for the 1/4" last night) forever. Most people are starting to blame the weatherman. I don't understand why people should critisize our local weather people, after all, last year they successfully forecast 11 of our 3 blizzards.
Hope the batting average in your area was at least as good.

July & August is always crazy hit or miss weather. Sprinkled here last 3 days and barely 2 tenths to measure and 15 miles down the road they got 2" or more. Looks to be doing the same thing later today.

Around here if they predict a wind they will hit it dead on every time. I guess wind is easier to predict than raim

Howdy,

Not to be smart or anything but what is your average when it comes to forecasting?

God bless.

Being a weatherman is the only profession where you can be dead wrong 75% of the time and still keep your job...

I have known doctors, mechanics and even the odd accountant that got by on that ratio.

Yes and most salesmen seem to thrive on that ratio of sales vs contacts.
