I just moved to Dayton area and I don"t see many antique tractors around here. I used to see a lot more of them in Michigan. I have only been in this hobby for a year or so, so I am always looking in backyards.

If we"re talking Dayton, Ohio, look in the 2006 show guide tab at the left. Plenty of tractors and shows from May to October. Yellow Spring,Urbana,Findlay,Plain City, Greenville,Eaton,Xenia, Portland and Brookville, Indiana, just to mention a few. Plenty of clubs around. Name your color preference.

Dayton where? Y'all say Dayton and I'm thinking Dayton TN.
Right across the mountain from me.
Place where they had the Scopes Monkey Trial.

Nice big show held just south of Yellow springs in Xenia in September at the fair grounds also. I live in Michigan but make sure I go to that show every year. Lots of good people down there. There is a gentleman just east of you too, name slips me right now (most names do when I really want to think of them) but someone here might know who I am talking about. He hands out a card that says Tractor Doctor on it, he has pacemaker orchard that was featured in one of the Antique Power mag. one time.

I live in the Dayton area myself and I can tell you that there is a lot of farm land all around Dayton in every direction where you might find one for sale. Also, if you like old tractors, put September 22 - 24 on your calendar. Old Timer"s Days will be at the Greene County Fairgounds in Xenia, which is not far from Dayton at all.

Head on over to Yellow Springs, about 15 minutes from dayton. Big time farm country + that's where the antique power magazine is published
