Well I'm mostly JD and Ford but this morning I brought home a F20-1936- Nice old tractor--pics later--is it supposed to be red or grey?

paint committee decision no.100 on november 1 1936 that 1937 year tractors be painted no.50 harvester red motor truck synthetic enamel paint. have ser no. of first red proto but caint find will look BRAD

Between the low '36 number and the smooth steering gear, I'm saying it was probably grey.

Looks like a very restoreable tractor. Must run pretty good to fire on the first turn. The tires don't look to bad. Had them on an 8n, would pull pretty hard, seemed to back up a little better than the "V" tread.

Cool! Just be careful that you don't forget where you left the "others". They turned red in the fall of 36, I don't know the date or serial# break. Bill
