Yep, their looking to get rid of their belt lines too. Heard this from our local rubber hose/belting supplier.

Hi. I didn't know that. What is wrong with Goodyear Co, why would the do that? It wasn't long ago that I found out that Bridgestone/Firestone sold all of their tractor and truck tire retail stores. All they have is the auto and pickup service stores. I used to be able to go to their big tire stores and get my Firestone discount on tractor tires. I can still get 16 inch tires from my auto store I go to all the time. I used to work at the Firestone plant in Des Moines Ia. I retired from there. Charley.

Get some Firestone's.
They look better than the GY.

Yep that happened a while back. Last Goodyear radials we replaced were nothing to brag about anyway and didn't last. They were having some cracking problems with some of the long bar short bar rear tractor tires.

Yep, that deal was announced in February 2005. I haven't seen any differences in the tire quality in the few I have purchased recently.
