We shes broke free! I used a mixture of first PB Blaster, then tranny fluid soak. With the head off a 3 in diameter peice of oak and a big sledge hammer. But i took #4 piston out and found that somone put the rings in wrong at one point in time. All the spits were in a line. So she was probably using oil, and somone used well water in the system and most of the coolant passages were plugged. The head was put on the surface plate and blued and is flat. What worried me was the plugged coolant passages, it was probably running hotter than she should have. Well with a few new parts she will be in paint next Wednesday. Thanks for the help guys. Now i got a repair in the shop yesterday. A New Holland 461 Haybine. This one is blew my mind. Its BENT! This farmer BENT the haybine. I mean it looks like a drill bit. He was sheepish on what happend but I dont know if i can fix this one. Has anyone experienced somthing like that?

The back quarter, where the adjustment springs are, that section is bent. The pivot shafts and trunions are bent. The shaft is nothing more than round tube steel, sleeved. But its welded on each end. you put the tire on its at a 30 degree angle! Thanks
