Hi;
This is a JD with front mounted spray tank (not in use right now) forming beds 6 feet wide ready to be planted with 6 rows of Corriander seed (used in Indian curry cooking).
The bedformer is a pto drive rotor (like a rotavator) with straight blades set at 45 degree angle, and a smaller second powered rotor with small spikes to break the soil down finer. At the rear is a small diameter flat roll to smooth the top of the bed.
This set of photos were taken at Rookery Farm, Shifnal, Shropshire, England 3rd July 2006.
Thanks to Tony Shepperd the farmer for allowing the photos to be taken.
Cheers David

Those green and yellow ttractors we saw on a train in Pa. a while back? I think we found 'em. Great photos.
I enjoy the photos of the English countryside. One line of my family were horse handlers/tenet farmers from Huntingdonshire who came to upstate NY 150 years ago. One came over for a couple years to check it out then went back and convinced the whole lot of his sibs/parents and grandparents to leave and settle here where they could own their own land. The two areas look a lot alike but I'll bet the winters were a shock.

I would assume they also use something like these also.
