Just installed new tires, but??

I just installed a set of new radials 13.6 x 38 on an old Cockshutt 550 and I'm very pleased, I think. I don't often do road gear travelling, but I did today and noticed a noticeable 'limp' on one tire. It's not noticeable at field speeds. Do I need to do a wheel balance? Anyone else had similar problems with new tires?
Thanks

Regular rims on the tractor.
I had a hard time finding a good set of 13.6x38 until a dealer said he had a set of new 'buy-backs' off a new sprayer, but they were radials.
So if I find them out of round, how do I remedy it???

If they are out of round then you would need to do what the last guy did and find an unsupecting person to buy them from you. Which means that there most likely was a good reason they where taken off the sprayer. If you can live with the extra ride since you don't road it often then you have a really nice set of radials on your tractor.

The first thing you do is jack up the tractor and set a block of wood or something for a gauge next to the tread of the tire. Roll it around slow moving the gauge closer until you check to see if it is round. Then put the gauge on the sidewall of the tire and check it. Then use a bar or something to guage the rim at the bead. Do each tire. If there is a problem with the tire you should be able to pick it up this way. Just one question, why did you put radials on it?

You wouldn't happen to have power-adjust rims would you ? If they aren't adjusted right, you'll get a wobble, noticable at higher speeds.
