I was given a 756 that had been parked for several years. the fuel tank was open and water had gotten into the diesel injection pump-- freezing and cracking the housing--- after some research I found a used pump-- now that one has gone bad. I am in need of another pump or a resource for one that is in good shape or has been overhauled---
I have made some phone calls to people who advertise that they have them for the 756 but they don't match up to the numbers on my pumps. does someone know the original numbers -- or some one who has an old parts book that could give me the numbers.

IH changed the part numbers on the pumps over the years as internal coponents were upgraded. If the pump comes off a german 310 it will work on yours no matter what the PN is. Worthington Ag parts also has a retrofit kit for the germans that includes a brand new Stanadyne JDB pump and all the parts to mount it. The german bosch pumps are getting hard to find parts for and are expensive to rebuild. Worthington gets $995 for the retrofit kit and $1978 for the reman Bosch pump.
