Just purchased MF 35 gas, 1963. Top wire on the voltage regular is unhooked, any idea where it goes. I purchased a service manual but no electrical was included.
Also, hood is missing, any idea what other models will fit?
Thanks!

If your tractor has been converted to 12 volts with an alternator instead of generator the VR may not be needed.

I don't have a mf 35.. but.. most VR's have marks on the tabs.. things like.. F or Field.. Bat.. or Battery.. ARM or GEN for generator, L for load.. etc. Ground.. etc.

Mine still has the genny, I have saw regulators with markings, surprised this one does not have any.

Did you check right on the tabs themselves?
