that looks like an early (schueler ?) cushion huitch. Very similar to the DMI units that are very popular. two little levere allow you to slide drawbar out and in,other lever right to left. they are really nice if you do alot of pulling. the drop down fram hitch part loks like has been added on. Never seen them from factory with that on them. I jus price a new DMI unit early this spring $725.00. brackets another $75. the unit you ahow in picture if the springs and lever are all still fee and working etc and drawbar doesn't look to worn then yea go for it. I have seen the DMI units on autions bring up too $200.00. I look at it this way, whats it worht to you thats all that matters.

I'd say nothing, since like others have said, you can buy a really nice brand new "farmer bumper" thats a whole lot better looking (different design) than that for $300. One fellow said he wouldn't pull anything down the road with them, but he is so wrong there, these farmer bumpers are thick solid steel, many times stronger than the really thin POS bumpers trucks come with.

It looks like an old DMI bumper or a variation of. The two handles are for swinging it to the side and the other for pulling it out. Can't see if it is spring loaded, most were. Used for pulling wagons and such. Springs took out the shock from the wagon, and the adjustment made it easy to hook by yourself. Newer ones go for $200-300. Yours looks well used, maybe $100-150.

Don't know if I would pull anything on the highway with it. Curious though about what the 2 "handles" (on the left side) are for?
