Heck, I put a '51 M and a '53 C out front a month ago and they both sold for top dollar within two days.

Hard to move anything. I've got two development lots for sale, nothing. Had a few offers a month ago, now dry hole.

In this market (here), that style IH with yellow paint, $2500 tops.

Nothing is selling now.. Economy is not good. The only way most people will buy anything now, is if they can put it on a credit card. Gas & grocery prices have many people living week-to-week. The ones that do have some money are holding on to it..

Yet, on the other hand, I went to a neighbor's farm auction last Saturday and watched local folks spend top dollar for everything! Examples: Allis Chalmers B $1500 MM Jet Star $3100 Ford 9000 $13000 60# Anvil $200 20ft. ext. ladder $140

It's hard to understand.

Well with the price of gas and no one knows when it will go up or down and a lot of other things people just aren't spending money like they did say 3 or 4 years ago. I've had a few up for sale for a year or more and haven't had any takers a few looked but thats about it. I know somethings got to give soon or we will all have stuff and no one will be buying. I friend of mine owns a pawn shop and he says very little is going out but a whole lot is comeing in. Get bad when people are pawning stuff just to have gas money to go to work, etc

I have found most people ask twice what it's worth.....consequently, folks offer half what is asked.

Where are you at Tim--I need a mower to mow around a few ponds etc. I like to drive so say 1000 miles is not a problem--call it a mini vacation with the wife--any pics???
Just bought the big cub cadet zero turn called the tank--need to spend some funds.
Thanks
