I grew up about 40 miles from Rollag so I went often. Unbelievable place. Haven't been back for awhile, but plan on going this year. Always on Labor Day weekend.

Why go to the same old kind of tractor show? How about some thing competely different that will be both entertaining and historic?
The 8th Annual Wheel Horse Show & 60th Anniversary Celebration will be June 23rd and 24th, 2006 at the South Mountain Fairgrounds in Arendstville, Pa. which is near Gettysburg.
Since the year 2006 will be the 60th anniversary of the Wheel Horse garden tractor the Wheel Horse Collectors club will be hosting a spectacular show to celebrate the past 60 years of working with these garden tractors. You will see Wheel Horses from all over the United States and Canada that are some of the finest museum quality restorations you will ever see. Cecil Pond will be attending this show and we will set up a 60 model year line up of Wheel Horses to be photographed with him. Reps from the Tecumseh and Kohler engine companies will be on hand along with folks from Toro/Wheel Horse. The flea market is filled with dealers selling out piles of N.O.S. parts and folks come in with truck loads of old Wheel Horse tractors to sell. A tech session is givin by me on care and up keep for Wheel Horses. We have a free ice cream social after the general membership meeting on friday night then it is time to turn on the tractor lights for the Cruise Night while listning to the oldies music over the PA system. The dash plaques and Wheel Horse Show "T" shirts are some of the neatest in the hobby, I can just about guarantee if you wear a Wheel Horse Show "T" shirt to another tractor show some one will come up to you and ask "where did you get that shirt?". The tractor parade is held both days and is nothing but FUN as each exhibitor get to tell folks about thier Wheel Horse and then THANKED for coming to the show. We hold a raffle prize drawing at the end of the day on Saturday and the top prize this year will be a brand new one of a kind special edition Wheel Horse model 315-8 Classic series 60th Anniversary tractor that was donated by Toro/Wheel Horse just for this show! This Wheel Horse is one of the last heavy duty tractors made by Wheel Horse (five serial numbers away from the end of production) and was made a 60th Anniversary model. The first Wheel Horse show had only 60 tractors this years show will have over 600!
Come see the show that is some thing different.

Buckley Old Tractor show near Traverse City is a great show also. Third weekend in August. They have a steam train, big sawmill, planer, shingle mill, Lots of crafts and a huge flea market for the women. Traverse city is a great area to vacation.

Buckley and mmogta are same weekend. You could do both. They are about 130 miles apart.

And if you are into AC you can catch the Orange spectacular in Hutchinson, MN July 22-23 and the Gathering Of The Orange July 28-29 in Hastings MN the following weekend.

In Wisconsin, it's hard to beat the Badger Steam and Gas Engine Show Aug 18-20 near Baraboo.
