Hi Guys,

Not much out there to rake, but that alfalfa sure does smell good! :>)

Wet on the bottom this morning; by 4pm she was ready to bale. Gonna roll out early in the morning and try to get this chore wrapped up. Maybe I'll luck out and get a little dew.

Allan

Now thats what we've been waiting for , picture of alfalfa laying down, with equipment in field. Be sure to get some pictures in morn of baling....Thanks

Looking good even if it is a little dry this year. We always take what we can get and be thankful.

Keith & Shawn

Allan don't do what I did today when you start baleing. Be sure to open and close the back of the baler to make sure the hyds have the tail end locked down. I lost one bale because I forgot to do that today. Now I'm tring to figure out how to unroll it so I can bale it again.

Wouldn't the H be more efficient pulling the rake?

Maybe fuel is cheaper over there in NE? Managed to steal a tank this morning for only $2.85 a couple towns over, instead of the $3.07 it is here...

I can't wait to get home and service up the haying equipment, will try to take pics and post up once in a while - though our equipment isn't near as nice-looking as yours!
