I've got a FIAT/Heston 155-90 and i've just sent the clutch slave cylinder in to get the seal replaced as it was leaking. Does anyone know what fluid to use for the clutch? The manual says to use "oiliofiat AMBRA SUPER 10 W" Guess thats italian for some oil. It had red oil like powersteering fluid and not clutch fluid?

Ambra is an actual product name on NewHolland's hydraulic oil today. You could go to the FL Viscosity website and look it up. All of Case/NewHolland's oil is produced by FL Viscosity, which I believe is a division of the Fiat group.
To give a straight answer to your question, I really don't know what fluid is supposed to be in that tractor's clutch cylinder. I do know that it isn't uncommon for Euro equipment to use engine oils and straight hydraulic oil in their hydraulic braking systems. Volvo is one example that comes to mind. If nobody pipes up with an answer, then mabey you could try a NewHolland dealer. HTH.

Apparently, it's straight 10W engine oil meeting API CF and CF-4 standards.
