Tim, here is where you want to go to get the actual tested draw bar HP and belt or pto HP out put.

A lot depends on the tyres, ballast and other factors as to your actual drawbar power.
Even PTO power can be way off for actual examples 40+ years later.
One large factor could be is one of them very tired and the other had a fresh rebuild? Another is have either been fitted with oversized pistons and liners or high compression pistons?
I would not bet any money if both were put on a dyno, unless I knew more....

If using tractordata, get a second opinion. There are an awful lot of mistakes in the specs they list.

Best way I know to find the real HP of a tractor is to go to the neb test web pages. I don't have the address for it but if you do a search for neb test you should find them. Thats about the only way to find what is real HP of the tractors since the companys liked to pad the HP that there tractor had. Of course HP isn't every thing. For instance I have an Oliver 77 and a ford 841. The 841 is rated at 45HP and the Loiver is rated at 38HP but the oliver will pull circles around the ford

Don't know what to say, thats how I found it years ago. You might try this. http.//www.reunionofthepast.8m.net/Nebraska_Test I took that form the bottom of a few pages I printed out years ago so I would have that info handy at all time

Just for the heck of it I just tried to do a search for the neb test my self and came up with something like 293,000 differant sites. I'm sure gald I printed out those pages years ago because its not easy to find it any more.
