I know that if the price seems to good to be true, it probably is. I would not knowingly buy any that has a tag on it that says made in China, even if it were free. I feel that if you buy a chinese no name tractor, in ten years you may not be able to buy replacement parts for it, maybe you cannot now, don't know about tractors, but chinese small engines that look like Honda can be difficult to get parts for. That is the problem with this country now, every one wants a good payng job, but when it comes to buying american made products, made with high priced american labor, people complain that is just too high priced. I have heard of people working for a manufacturer, but will not buy the product they manufacter, becasue the price is too high. But they are the ones causing the high price. Is it really worth it to save a few dollars, to see America factories close. Americans out of jobs, as everyone starts buying chinese products

try this one. They have shipping to just about anywhere, so they can probably get one close enough to pick up.

I've seen several people that have done this. They've had good luck with the machines. If you are looking for a small acerage tractor that you can get cheap, these may be for you! Parts don't seem to be a problem, either. Neighbor has more trouble with his Korean Kioti yuppie tractor than some guys I know with Chinese machines.

AFAIK, "put together yourself" involves taking it out of the crate, and installing the wheels and tires, and steering while, and other miscellaneous parts, not really "putting it together yourself".

This would also give a person a chance to flush the cases and put in the oil you feel is right. You would also be more familiar with the tractor. I thought this is neat. We have to realize, not everybody likes this and that's why you have dealers and mechanics. But don't knock it, it's a way for someone that couldn't have one otherwise.

Me thinks that Chinese tractor technology has some growing to do yet. Right now, they have a lot to learn....but in 10 years, this will change. I'm not an advocate of Chinese anything....but they are not stupid and they are using all this money they are making to buy technology and the quality will go up. John Deere is already sourcing the Chinese market. I have seen Chinese gearboxes on their rotary cutters and hitch castings on the tractors. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Deere&Co. has a factory there soon. Corporate America is greedy for cheap labor, no pollution laws or benefit packages. They will flock to China. Sad thing is, it is greed at the top driving this. They don't want to pay Americans to work, but want to sell their stuff to us. GRRR!

What you mean is they don't want to pay for American labor BUT they want to sell the product as if they had paid for it.
