Off of a snow blower...I have one on a homemade log splitter....The little black wire fell off, and I didn't get a look where it went to. Now I have no spark...It comes out on the motor, goes to the terminal on the side of the carb, then I don't know where it goes? Can any body help? Thanks

if its like mine, black wire coming out from inside engine grounds out the points to kill the engine, closing the throttle all the way makes a connection on the carb to ground

if black wire wasn't there at all, engine would run fine

suspect wire wore thru inside flywheel, maybe you are grounded inside there
